My web design process: from brief to launch

Understand before designing.
I start by understanding your business, audience, goals and existing digital presence. We define what the website needs to achieve, what needs to change and what success should look like.

Build the structure before the visuals.
I shape the sitemap, content structure and user journeys to create a clear foundation for the website. The goal is to make information easy to find and important actions easy to take.

Turn the strategy into a visual system.
I translate the approved direction into wireframes and a complete UI/UX design in Figma. Layout, typography, imagery, interaction and responsive behaviour are considered together before development begins.

DEVELOP
Design becomes a working website.
Once the design is approved, I build the responsive front end and integrate the required functionality. Depending on the project, this can be a custom WordPress website, WooCommerce store or a custom web application.

Test, optimise and get the details right.
Before launch, I test the website across screen sizes and devices, review interactions and content, fix issues and optimise performance. I also take care of essential technical SEO and launch preparation.
