is a game for 1-5 players. You and your friends play as one of Earth’s mighty nations, competing to ensure your citizens prosper and maintain the highest living standards. However, you must also work together to ensure the survival of our planet!

One Earth

is a turn-based game player over several rounds. During your turn, you earn currency. You may then use that currency to fund “Projects”. By doing so, you increase your country’s prosperity but may increase collective greenhouse gas “Emissions”. In a standard game, the first player to score 20 prosperity points while maintaining global emissions at a safe level wins. However, if “Global Emissions” (emitted by all players) reach 30 or more, everyone loses. Thus, players must balance between their individual objective of gaining prosperity and the group’s objective of keeping climate change under control. This unique tension between individual and collective goals is what makes this game so much fun! During the game, you may also fund “Technologies” and “Climate Policies” that help improve your prosperity and/or reduce “Emissions”. You must also contend with climate change “Events” and economic “Sanctions” voted on by players that will affect your plan. All this makes
